Terfa is a Partner and Head of Chambers at Y.C Maikyau & Co. He is a graduate of the prestigious Benue State University in 2007 and was subsequently admitted to the Nigerian Bar. He joined the firm in October, 2013 as an Associate and has risen through the ranks to become the Firm’s Head of Chambers. He is a seasoned and astute litigator. He specializes in civil, corporate and commercial litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. His other practice areas include constitutional, administrative, election petition and electoral disputes. He has advised and represented clients in matters across his practice areas.

He has also acted as a lead defence attorney for diverse individuals and corporate organizations in white-collar criminal cases. He has made several presentations on various cases on Military Law cutting across his practice areas at various. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration (CIArb), United Kingdom.
