Adela is an Associate at Y.C. Maikyau & Co., specializing in corporate and commercial law, regulatory compliance, financial transactions, and dispute resolution. She holds an LL.B., an LL.M. in Financial Law & Policy, and professional training as a Barrister-at-Law, with certifications in mediation, arbitration, and project management.

She has contributed to high-value oil and gas financing, corporate advisory projects, PPPs, and commercial negotiations, including contracts for NNPC E&P Limited’s OML 11 and OML 13 projects. Adela also supports litigation and arbitration matters by drafting memorials, structuring evidence, and assisting in strategic case preparation.

She gained legislative insight through an internship with the Senate Committee on Electoral Matters under PLAC and is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators and the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators. Adela is recognized for her analytical rigor, attention to detail, and practical, business-focused legal support.
