Umar Jibril Barambu is an Associate at Y.C. Maikyau & Co. with training in both Common and Islamic Law and a developing practice in litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
He graduated with a Second-Class Upper Division (LL.B.) in Common and Islamic Law from Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in July 2025. Umar brings strong analytical and research skills to his work, supporting clients with practical and innovative legal solutions.
With professional training in mediation, he is well-positioned to advise on both adversarial and consensual dispute resolution.
