BALARABE is a senior Associate at Y.C. Maikyau & Co. He is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he obtained his LLB Degree in 2012. He attended Nigerian Law School between 2012 and 2013 and was called to the Nigerian Bar as Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2013.

Mr. Balarabe participated in the mandatory National Youth Service Corps between 2013 and 2014. Thereafter, he settled for private practice with the Law Firm of Y.C. Maikyau & Company and rose to become senior Associate.

In December, 2019 he obtained his LLM (Masters at Law) from Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto.

He is a member of Nigerian Bar Association, currently member of Secretariat Committee of Sokoto Branch.

Naqiba is an Associate at Y.C Maikyau & Co .She  holds  a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Prestigious Uthman Danfodio University, Sokoto and has been  admitted to the Nigerian Bar. Prior to joining the Firm, she served as an intern with the litigation department of some first-rate law firms. Naqiba provides legal advice and representation to a number of clients and lawyers across jurisdictions, covering various complex legal issues.

Chinenye is an Associate at Y.C Maikyau & Co .She holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Abuja and has been admitted to the Nigerian Bar. Prior to joining Y. C. Maikyau & Co, she had garnered considerable professional experience working in the litigation department of notable law firms. She has advised and represented the firm in corporate and general litigation. Chinenye has attended several conferences, seminars and symposia both locally and internationally, and is a recipient of several Professional certifications.

Leila is an Associate at Y.C Maikyau & Co .She graduated from the University of Essex in 2018 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in the subsequent year.

She possesses excellent communication skills, attention to details and extreme passion for the law. She is committed to bringing her expertise to bear in dealing with legal issues and ensuring successful outcomes. Her areas of expertise include civil litigation, criminal litigation, corporate and commercial transactions, property law and practice amongst other areas of law.

Naomi Bankyu is an Associate at Y.C Maikyau & Co .She is value oriented and result driven. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) from the Prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State and has been called to the Nigerian Bar. She also holds various certifications in Human Resource Management as well as Information and Communication Technology. She advises clients on diverse areas of corporate law ranging from business and company law to regulatory compliance. She also provides general corporate advisory on the Nigerian law and policies affecting the incorporation and operation of businesses, corporate governance, and tax compliance issues.

Tosin is an Associate at Y.C Maikyau & Co .She is a graduate of Afe-Babalola University and was  subsequently called to the Nigerian Bar. She has garnered experience in advising the Firm on company secretarial services, general regulatory compliance and entertainment law. A team player, Since joining the firm, she has been involved in a range of matters, including banking and finance and general corporate advisory

Faisal is an Associate at Y.C Maikyau & Co .He is a graduate of law of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna state. He is a highly resourceful, passionate and goal-oriented lawyer. Hannah is an Associate at Y.C Maikyau & Co .She obtained her law degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School. She is a dispute resolution expert, majoring in Arbitration, Mediation, Conciliation, and Early Neutral Evaluation. She has participated in several Arbitration proceedings and has advised in several dispute resolution proceedings and fora, both locally and internationally. Hannah has also advised the Firm on Entertainment and Sports Law.
